Miriam Zucker, ACSW, Founder, received her Masters Degree in Social Work from the Wurzweiler School of Social Work
of Yeshiva University and did her post-Masters training at the Brookdale
Center on Aging. As Program Coordinator for the Alzheimer's Association
in Westchester County, she was instrumental in the development of programs
for the Alzheimer's caregiver. She lectures extensively, implementing the award-winning Telephone Support Link Program, and produced and hosted the "Westchester Help Line", a radio program on WVOX in New Rochelle, New York. Ms. Zucker has written "Mind Matters," a mental health column for Tomorrow publications and is the author of The Telephone Support Link Program, A Manual for Implementation. In conjunction with the Brookdale Center on Aging of Hunter College, she founded the Certificate Program in Professional Geriatric Care Management. She currently serves as an instructor for this program. Miriam Zucker is a licensed New York State Social Worker and is a member of: the National Association of Social Workers, American Society on Aging, the National Association Professional Geriatric Care Managers, and the Central Westchester Geriatric Committee. She is the past president of the Greater New York Chapter of Professional Geriatric Care Managers. She received their "Outstanding Chapter Member Award" in 2001. Ms. Zucker is a member of the board of directors of New Rochelle Senior Personnel and served on the Millennium Planning Committee for the City of New Rochelle Office on Aging.
